Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh media komik powtoon terhadap keterampilan menulis teks narasi (cerita imajinasi). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 di SMPN 137 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest postest desain. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Berdasarkan rata-rata yang diperoleh pada prates sebesar 64,24 dan pada pascates sebesar 80,76 mengalami perubahan. Kemudian, berdasarkan uji persyaratan analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas dengan menggunakan uji liliefors diperoleh Lo = 0,0987 dan Ltabel = 0,177 pada prates sedangkan Lo = 0,1193 dan Ltabel = 0,177 pada pascates dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil uji homogenitas dengan menggunakan uji fisher diperoleh Fhitung = 1,239 dan Ftabel = 1,984 maka data homogen. Hasil penghitungan uji hipotesis atau uji-t diperoleh thitung sebesar 9,814 dan ttabel sebesar 2,0639 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05, maka thitung (9,814) > ttabel (2,0639). Dari hasil tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa Ho ditolak artinya terdapat pengaruh media komik powtoon terhadap keterampilan menulis teks narasi (cerita imajinasi). Dapat dilihat juga dari persentase perubahan tertinggi yaitu pada aspek orientasi dan kalimat langsung/tidak langsung masing-masing sebesar 14,4 dan persentase terendah yaitu pada aspek pilihan kata (diksi) sebesar 1,6. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh media komik powtoon terhadap keterampilan menulis teks narasi (cerita imajinasi) pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 137 Jakarta. Media komik powtoon dapat diimplikasikan terhadap pembelajaran teks cerita pendek, terutama dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek. This research was conducted in the 2019/2020 school year at SMPN 137 Jakarta. The method used is an experimental method. The research design used was a one group pretest postest design. Sampling was done randomly with a total of 25 students. Based on the average obtained in the pre-test is 64.24 and 80.76 in the post-test. Then, based on the requirements test, the data analysis was carried out by using the normality test using the Liliefors test, it was obtained that Lo = 0.0987 and L table = 0.177 in the pre-test, while Lo = 0.1193 and L-table = 0.177 at the post-test with a significant level of 0.05. The results of the homogeneity test using the Fisher test obtained Fcount = 1.239 and Ftable = 1.984, so the data is homogeneous. The results of the calculation of the hypothesis test or t-test obtained t count of 9.814 and t table of 2.0639 with a significant level of 0.05, then t count (9.814)> t table (2.0639). From these results, it can be said that Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of powtoon comic media on writing narrative text skills (imaginary stories). It can also be seen from the highest percentage change, namely in the orientation aspect and direct / indirect sentence, respectively 14.4 and the lowest percentage, namely in the aspect of word choice (diction) of 1.6. Thus, there is an influence of powtoon comic media on writing narrative text skills (imaginary stories) in seventh grade students of SMPN 137 Jakarta. The comic powtoon media can be implicated in learning short story texts, especially in learning to write short story texts.
