Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh grit terhadap motivasi intrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik dan amotivasi mahasiswa pada masa pandemi COVID 19 di Universitas “X”. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang diambil melalui penyebaran kuisioner kepada 335 responden yang memenuhi kriteria. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) – Bahasa Indonesia oleh Natalya & Purwanto dan Short Grit Scale (Grit-S) oleh Duckworth & Quinn. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh grit terhadap motivasi intrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik dan amotivasi. This study aims to determine the effect of grit on student intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation and amotivation during the COVID 19 pandemic at “X” university. The approach used is quantitative research. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 335 respondents. The measuring instruments used are the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) - Indonesian by Natalya & Purwanto and the Short Grit Scale (Grit-S) by Duckworth & Quinn. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of grit on intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation and amotivation.
