Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar menulis teks cerita pendek berbasis nilai pendidikan karakter untuk siswa SMA kelas XI. Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan ialah model ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesulitan yang dialami siswa ketika menulis teks cerita pendek berbasis nilai pendidikan karakter. Selain itu, guru juga belum menemukan indikator yang efektif terkait penilaian sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan telah melalui tahap validasi ahli materi dan uji coba lingkup kecil. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu sepuluh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Bekasi. Hasil uji coba terhadap keterampilan sepuluh siswa SMA kelas XI dalam menulis teks cerita pendek tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kenaikan nilai rata-rata peserta didik sebesar 35% dari nilai sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil validasi pakar, bahan ajar ini dinyatakan sangat layak sebagai bahan ajar pendamping pembelajaran cerpen di SMA. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini disajikan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Aspek penilaian terhadap bahan ajar merujuk pada relevansi isi bahan ajar, penggunaan bahasa dalam bahan ajar, kegrafikaan bahan ajar, dan keterbacaan bahan ajar. Guru dan peserta didik dapat memanfaatkan bahan ajar menulis teks cerita pendek berbasis nilai pendidikan karakter ini untuk mengambangkan keterampilan menulis yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. This study aims to develop teaching materials for writing short story texts based on the value of character education for senior high school students in grade XI. The research and development model used is the ADDIE model. This research was motivated by the difficulties experienced by students when writing short story texts based on character education values. In addition, teachers also have not found effective indicators related to the assessment of attitudes, knowledge, and skills in learning short stories. The teaching materials developed have gone through the material expert validation stage and small scope trials. The research subjects in this study were ten students of class XI SMA Negeri 6 Bekasi. The test results on the skills of ten class XI high school students in writing the short story text, showed that there was an increase in the average score of students by 35% from the previous value. Based on the results of expert validation, this teaching material was declared very feasible as a companion teaching material for short story learning in high school. The data analysis technique in this research is presented descriptively quantitative and qualitative. Aspects of assessment of teaching materials refer to the relevance of the content of teaching materials, the use of language in teaching materials, the graphics of teaching materials, and the readability of teaching materials. Teachers and students can take advantage of this character education value-based short story text teaching material to develop writing skills that are in accordance with the values of character education.
