Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Optimisme terhadap Distres Psikologis pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta di Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Instrumen pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) dan Hopkins Symptoms Checklist-25 (HSCL-25). Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 221 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai p 0,000 lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan nilai F hitung 75,749 dan F tabel 3,89. Hipotesis alternatif pada penelitian ini menunjukkan (Ha) diterima dan dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Optimisme terhadap Distres Psikologis pada Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta di Masa Pandemi Covid-19. This research aims to determine the Influence of Optimism to Psychological Distress of Undergraduate Students in State University of Jakarta during Pandemic Covid-19. This research methods use quantitative. Measuring instrument in this research use Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) and Hopkins Symptoms Checklist-25 (HSCL-25). The sampling technique in this research use non-probability sampling. The number of samples in this research were 221 respondents. The results showed the p-value of 0,000 was smaller than the significant level of 0,05 and F value was 75,749 whereas the F table score was 3,89. Then, the alternative hypothesis in this research (Ha) is accepted and can be stated as the Influence of Optimism to Psychological Distress of Undergraduate Students in State University of Jakarta during Pandemic Covid-19.
