Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tipe kepribadian big five terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang berbelanja secara online. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 301 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan variabel tipe kepribadian big five diukur menggunakan Big Five Inventory (BFI), sedangkan variabel pembelian impulsif diukur menggunakan Impulse Buying Tendency (IBT). Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa trait neuroticism berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel tipe kepribadian big five secara simultan berkontribusi sebesar 13,5% terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang berbelanja secara online. The research aims to determine the influence of big five personality types on the impulsive buying behaviour of Jakarta State University students who shop online. The subject of this study amounted to 301 people. The study used a quantitative approach with the Big Five personality type variables measured using the Big Five Inventory (BFI), while the impulsive buying variable was measured using the Impulse Buying Tendency (IBT). Data analysis using multiple linear regression analyses suggests that the neuroticism trait affects the impulsive behavior of purchasing. The results showed big five personality type variables simultaneously contributed to 13.5% of the impulsive buying behaviour of Jakarta State University students who shop online..
