Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh self-compassion terhadap resiliensi pada orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan skala psikologi. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale 25 (CD-RISC 25) yang dikembangkan oleh Connor dan Davidson, dan telah diadaptasi untuk mengukur variabel resiliensi. Instrumen Self Compassion Scale (SCS) yang dikembangkan oleh Neff dan telah diadopsi untuk mengukur variabel self-compassion. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 158 orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linear. Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara self-compassion terhadap resiliensi dengan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,000. Pengaruh self-compassion terhadap resiliensi adalah sebesar 20,4%. This research was conducted to examine the impact of self-compassion towards the resilience of parents with children disabilities. Resilience was measured by using Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale developed by Connor and Davidson, and self-compassion was measured by using Self Compassion Scale developed by Neff. This study is using quantitative research with total sample 158 parents who have children wuth disabilities. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression techniques. The result of this research showed there was a significant impact of self-compassion toward the resilience of parents with disabilities with the significance (p) of 0,000. The impact of which self-compassion has on resilience is 20,4%.
