Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop teaching materials for writing drama texts using the Somatis Auditory Visual Intellectual (SAVI) model for grade VIII junior high school students. This research and development is compiled based on the Dick and Carey development model which is simplified into 5 stages, namely analysis, design or design, development of teaching materials, implementation or execution and finally evaluation. The analysis or information collection stage was carried out by interviewing Indonesian language teachers at SMP N 5 Jakarta. At the design stage or design and development includes the preparation stage, validation test, product refinement. Furthermore, at the implementation stage, the teaching materials were tested on students by conducting a pretest and posttest. In the evaluation phase, a survey was conducted by giving a questionnaire to students to see student responses to the teaching materials that had been developed. The results found are: First, Indonesian language textbooks used in schools are limited. There is no use of specific teaching materials for drama writing skills that are integrated with certain learning models. Second, the teaching materials for writing drama texts using the SAVI model for SMP class VIII students at SMP N 5 Jakarta which were developed consisted of three parts, namely the initial part, the content part and the final part. The first part which contains the cover, introduction and table of contents. The content section consists of learning objectives, materials, steps to write a drama text, and exercises. And the final section contains a summary and bibliography. Third, the average value of the validation test results from material experts, linguists and Indonesian language subject teachers is 3.45 in the "Good" category. Fourth, the One to One test results through the questionnaire got an average score of 3.78 in the "Very Good" category. The results of the Small Group test through the questionnaire got an average score of 3.51 in the "Good" category, and the Field Test got an average score of 3.70 in the "Very Good" category. Fifth, the results of hypothesis testing of the pretest and posttest values get "significant" results. From the results of the validation and testing, it can be stated that the teaching materials developed are suitable for use. Keywords: Skills to write drama, development, teaching materials, SAVI model, Dick and Carey ************ Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar menulis teks drama dengan menggunakan model Somatis Auditori Visual Intelektual (SAVI) untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini disusun berdasarkan model pengembangan Dick and Carey yang disederhanakan menjadi 5 tahapan yaitu analisis, desain atau perancangan, pengembangan bahan ajar, implementasi atau eksekusi dan yang terakhir evaluasi. Tahap analisis atau pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMP N 5 Jakarta. Pada tahap desain atau perancangan dan pengembangan meliputi tahap penyusunan, uji validasi, penyempurnaan produk. Selanjutnya pada tahap implementasi yaitu bahan ajar diuji coba kepada siswa dengan melakukan pretest dan posttest. Pada tahap evaluasi dilakukan survei dengan memberikan angket kepada siswa untuk melihat respons siswa terhadap bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan yaitu: Pertama, buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan di sekolah terbatas. Belum ada penggunaan bahan ajar khusus keterampilan menulis drama yang terintegrasi dengan model pembelajaran tertentu. Kedua, bahan ajar menulis teks drama dengan model SAVI untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII di SMP N 5 Jakarta yang dikembangkan terdiri atas tiga bagian, yaitu bagian awal, bagian isi dan bagian akhir. Bagian awal yang berisi sampul, kata pengantar dan daftar isi. Bagian isi terdiri atas tujuan pembelajaran, materi, langkah-langkah menulis teks drama, dan latihan. Dan bagian akhir berisi rangkuman, dan daftar pustaka. Ketiga, rata-rata nilai hasil uji validasi dari ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sebesar 3,45 berada pada kategori “Baik”. Keempat, hasil uji One to One melalui kuesioner mendapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,78 berada pada kategori “ Sangat Baik”. Hasil uji Small Group melalui kuesioner mendapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 3.51 berada pada kategori “Baik”, dan uji Field Test mendapat nilai rata-rata sebesar 3.70 berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik”. Kelima, hasil uji hipotesis nilai pretest dan posttest mendapat hasil “Signifikan”. Dari hasil validasi, dan uji coba tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak digunakan.
