Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara manajemen lingkungan sekolah dengan motivasi belajar siswa di SMA se-Kecamatan Bekasi Utara. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah manajemen lingkungan sekolah sebagai variabel bebas (variabel X) dan motivasi belajar sebagai variabel terikat (variabel Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini hanya berasal dari siswa kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 770 siswa. Karena populasi ini lebih dari 100, maka sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan rumus slovin yang dihitung berdasarkan jumlah populasi, sehingga didapat 89 siswa untuk sampel pada penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data untuk kedua variabel ini menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah korelasi Product Moment dari Karl Pearson, dari hasil uji korelasi itu diperoleh tingkat korelasi sebesar 0,636. Dari hasil hipotesis diperoleh thitung sebesar = 7,692 yang berarti lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar = 1,988. Dari koefisien determinasi manajemen lingkungan sekolah memberikan kontribusi sebesar = 40,48% terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara manajemen lingkungan sekolah dengan motivasi belajar siswa SMA se-Kecamatan Bekasi Utara. Berdasarkan kesimpulan diatas dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat manajemen lingkungan sekolah, maka akan semakin tinggi juga tingkat motivasi belajar siswa. This study aims to determine whether or not if there is a relationship between school environment management and students learning motivation of eleven science class senior high school in North Bekasi District. The variables that studied were school environment management as the independent variable (variable X) and student learning motivation as the dependent variable (variable Y). The population in this study has just come from 770 students of eleven science class. Because the population of this study is more than 100, so the sample of this study is determined by the slovin formula that is calculated by population size, resulting in an 89th students sample for this study. The method that used in this study is survey research method with a quantitative approach. Data collection for interpersonal communication and quality of life variables using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique that used to test the hypothesis is Product Moment correlation by Karl Pearson, from the results of correlation test came from correlation rate 0,0636. From the results of the hypothesis obtained t_count = 7.692 which means greater than t_table = 1.988. From the coefficient of determination, school environment management contributes 40.48% to student learning motivations and the rest are affected by other factors. So, the study may conclude that there is a positive and significant relationship between the school environment management and learning motivation of senior high school student in North Bekasi District. And, based on these conclusions, the higher level of school environment management, the higher level of students learning motivation that employees have.
