Abstract

Kesadaran Diri merupakan kemampuan individu untuk mengenali dan mengetahui mengapa suatu perasaan bisa muncul sehingga individu paham pengaruhnya terhadap dirinya dan orang lain. Kesadaran diri penting untuk dimiliki oleh seseorang, sebelum ia dapat mengenali, memahami dan membina hubungan dengan orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan kesadaran diri anak usia 7-8 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Malaka Sari, Jakarta Timur dengan sampel penelitian anak usia 7-8 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan korelasional dan mengumpulkan data dengan instrumen kuesioner (lembar observasi). Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini adalah anak berusia 7-8 tahun di kelurahan Malaka Sari berjumlah 45 orang. Teknik pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t menghasilkan thitung (15,89) > ttabel (2,02), maka koefisien korelasi signifikan dan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Perhitungan koefisen korelasi menggunakan rumus Product moment menghasilkan rhitung = 0,92 > rtabel = 0.2940. Dengan perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh 85,45%. Dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan anatara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan kesadaran diri anak usia 7-8 tahuan di Kelurahan Malaka Sari Jakarta Timur. Self-awareness is the individual's ability to recognize and know why a feeling can arise so that individual understands the influence on himself and others. Self-awareness is important for a person to have before he can recognize, understand, and build relationships with other people. The purpose of this study was to determine the relation of peer social support and self-awareness of children at the age of 7 - 8 years. The research was conducted in Malaka Sari Village, East Jakarta, with a sample of children by the age of 7 - 8 years. This study uses a correlational approach and collects data using a questionnaire instrument (questionnaire). The sample in this study was 45 children at the age of 7 - 8 years in Malaka Sari village. Hypothesis testing techniques used t-test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained tcount (15.89) > ttable (2.02), the significant correlation coefficient where Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Calculation of the correlation coefficient using the formula of Product moment results in rcount = 0.92 > rtable = 0.2940. By calculating the coefficient of determination obtained 85.45%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between peer social support and self-awareness of children at the age of 7 - 8 years in Malaka Sari Village, East Jakarta.
