Abstract

Penelitian survei ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran keterampilan berbicara pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di sekolah multilingual. Penelitian dilaksanakan di daerah Tangerang Selatan dengan menggunakan metode survei dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan pemberian instrumen atau angket. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2020. Sampel yang dijadikan responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 75 anak berusia 5-6 tahun atau yang berada pada kelompok tk B di tiga sekolah multiligual di daerah Tangerang Selatan. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan dua aspek berbicara yang diturunkan menjadi indikator. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di sekolah multilngual berada dalam kategori “”Cukup Baik”. Kategori “Kurang” memiliki jumlah frekuensi 12 orang atau 16% dari jumlah responden. Kategori “Cukup Baik” memiliki jumlah frekuensi 40 orang atau 53% dari jumlah responden. Pada kategori “Baik” terdapat 23 orang atau 31% dari jumlah responden. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menggambarkan bahwa anak multilingual dengan usia 5-6 tahun sudah dapat berbicara menggunakan seluruh bahasa yang dimilikinya menggunakan sistem bahasa yang terpisah untuk menyampaikan informasi atau gagasan secara lisan kepada orang sekitar. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan berbicara, anak usia 5-6 tahun, multilingual Purpose of this survey research is describing speaking skills in 5-6 year-old children in multilingual schools. This research was held in South Tangerang area using survey methods and data collection techniques with instruments or questionnaires. The data collection was conducted in January 2020. The sample used as respondents in this study were 75 of 5-6 year-old children or who were in group B in three multiligual schools in the South Tangerang area. Data analysis in this study was based on two aspects of speech which were revealed to be indicators. The results of this study is speaking skills in 5-6 year-old children in multilingual school are in the "Good Enough" category. "Less" category has a frequency of 12 people or 16% of the total number of respondents. "Good Enough" category has a frequency of 40 people or 53% of the number of respondents. In the "Good" category, there are 23 people or 31% of the total respondents. The results of this study can shows that multilingual children aged 5-6 years old can already speak using all the languages they have using a separate language system to convey information or ideas orally to people around.
