Abstract

Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang persepsi dan sikap orang tua tentang perilaku tantrum pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di wilayah kecamatan Bekasi Selatan. Sampel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang tua orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 4-5 tahun yang bersekolah di TK wilayah Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah cluster simple random sampling. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah metode deksriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dan sikap orang tua tentang perilaku tantrum pada anak usia 4-5 tahun termasuk dalam kategori “Setuju”. Dimana hasil dari analisis data ini telah menggambarkan bahwa orang tua setuju orang tua dapat menafsirkan hakikat perilaku tantrum pada anak dan dalam menunjukan sikap disaat anak berperilaku tantrum. Oleh sebab itu, orangtua dapat memahami bahwa persepsi dan sikap orangtua yang dimiliki dan ditunjukan dapat membantu mengatasi tantrum pada anak sehingga salah satu proses perkembangan emosi pada anak akan dapat berkembang dengan baik. Orangtua diharapkan untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam tentang tantrum pada anak. In general, this study aims to obtain empirical data about the perceptions and attitudes of parents about tantrum behavior in children aged 4-5 years in the South Bekasi. The sample that will be used in this research is 30 parents who have children aged 4-5 years who attend kindergarten in South Bekasi. The technique used to determine the sample in this study was cluster simple random sampling. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Based on the data analysis conducted by the researcher, the results showed that the perceptions and attitudes of parents about tantrum behavior in children aged 4-5 years were included in the "Agree" category. Where the results of this data analysis illustrate that parents agree that parents can interpret the nature of tantrum behavior in children and in showing attitudes when children behave tantrums. Therefore, parents can understand that the perceptions and attitudes of parents that are owned and shown can help overcome tantrums in children so that one of the emotional development processes in children will be able to develop properly. Parents are expected to know more about tantrums in children.
