Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran academic self-efficacy mahasiswa di Jakarta pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Mahasiswa yang diteliti adalah mahasiswa S1 yang berkuliah di Jakarta. Academic self-efficacy adalah keyakinan mahasiswa terhadap kemampuan mereka dalam melaksanakan tugas–tugas akademik seperti mempersiapkan diri untuk ujian, mengerjakan tugas dan menyusun makalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur instrumen academic self-efficacy scale yang dikembangkan oleh Zajacova, Scott M. Lynch dan Thomas J. Espenshade (2015). Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil sejumlah 214 orang responden (92,2%) berada pada kategori academic self-efficacy tingkat tinggi, dan 18 orang responden (7,8%) responden berada pada kategori rendah. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini memiliki academic self-efficacy yang tinggi. ********************* This study aims to determine the academic self-efficacy picture of college students in Jakarta during the COVID-19 pandemic. The subject of this study undergraduate students were studying in Jakarta and undergoing distance learning. Academic self-efficacy is a college student's confidence in their ability to carry out academic tasks such as preparing for exams, doing assignments and compiling papers. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis. This study used an academic self-efficacy scale instrument that was developed by Zajacova, Scott M. Lynch and Thomas J. Espenshade (2015). The sample in this study consisted of 232 people who were active college students in Jakarta.This study found that 214 respondents (92.2%) were in the high-level academic self-efficacy category, and 18 respondents (7.8%) respondents were in the low category. It can be concluded that the majority of students who were respondents in this study had high academic self-efficacy.
