Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan karir pada peserta didik tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik di SMA Negeri 14 Jakarta Timur kelas X dan kelas XI pada tahun ajaran 2019/2010 sebanyak 215 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian dari konstruk teori Krumboltz yang mengungkapkan faktor – faktor pengambilan keputusan karir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan karir peserta didik SMA Negeri 14 Jakarta timur yang berkontribusi besar dalam pengambilan keputusan karir yaitu pada faktor perencanaan karir, kondisi pendidikan, konsep diri, keterampilan membuat alternatif pilihan, konsep diri, dukungan orangtua, tingkat percaya diri pada penampilan fisik, dan kondisi pekerjaan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan karir peserta didik pada perencanaan karir Kata kunci : Faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan karir, Sekolah Menengah Atas. This research aims to reveal the factors affect career decision making on high school students. The research method. The sample was 215 students of SMA Negeri 14 East Jakarta who are in the class of X and XI. The sampling method used is proportional stratified random. The data was collected using instrument based on Krumboltz theory. The result of this study showed that the factors that influence decision-making career of students of SMA Negeri 14 Jakarta timur, which contribute greatly in making career decisions, namely on the factors of career planning, conditions of education, self-concept, skills make an alternative choice, self-concept, parental support, the level of confidence on physical appearance, and conditions of employment.
