Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran gerak dasar melempar bola besar melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual dan mengkaji pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual dapat meningkatkan gerak dasar melempar bola besar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 32 siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cipinang Melayu 04 Jakarta Timur tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pengambilan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain lembar penilaian tes kemampuan gerak dasar melempar bola besar, observasi oleh peneliti dan lembar pemantau tindakan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual yang dilaksanakan dalam satu (1) siklus dengan 4 kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi hasil penelitan menunjukan persentase perolehan data pada siklus 1 gerak dasar melempar bola besar dari atas kepala sebesar 68,7% dan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual mendapatkan 80% untuk guru dan siswa. The Study aims to determine the basic motion learning process of throwing a large ball through a contextual learning approach and investigate the contextual learning approach can improve the basic motion of throwing a large ball. The subjects in this study was a student of class IV who amounted to 32 students in the East Jakarta Elementary School in District Cipinang Melayu 04, 2019/2020 academic year. The research method used is classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative data collection. Data collection instruments used included the basic ability test sheet to throw a large ball, observations by researchers and a monitoring sheet of action contextual learning approaches carried out in one (1) cycle with 4 activities there are planning, acting, observing and reflecting the results of research showing the percentage data acquisition in cycle 1 basic motion throwing a large ball from the head by 68,7% and the contextual learning approach get 80% for teachers and students.
