Abstract

Sistem reproduksi merupakan salah satu materi yang cukup sulit dipahami bagi siswa karena memiliki konsep yang abstrak dan serangkaian bioproses dan mekanisme yang rumit. Permasalahan ini dapat diatasi dengan literasi Biologi, yakni kemampuan memahami dan memecahkan permasalahan biologis di kehidupan sehari-hari. Peningkatan literasi Biologi tersebut dapat dibantu oleh media pembelajaran berupa website Bio-Repropedia berbasis Reading, Mind Mapping, dan Sharing (RMS). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran Bio-Repropedia yang valid dan efektif. Metode yang digunakan yakni metode penelitian dan pengembangan Borg & Gall dengan beberapa tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, uji coba produk, penyempurnaan produk, serta uji efektivitas produk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 16 Jakarta pada bulan Desember - Juni 2020. Subjek uji penelitian ini meliputi ahli media, ahli materi, 20 peserta didik kelompok kecil, 72 peserta didik kelompok besar, dan guru Biologi. Hasil analisis data yang didapat adalah data berdistribusi normal dan homogen serta tolak H0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bio-Repropedia berbasis RMS mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,45 dengan interpretasi sangat valid dan dapat digunakan. Rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes beruturut-turut adalah 57,00 dan 86,00. Nilai gain ternormalisasi yang didapatkan adalah 0,69 yang menunjukkan media Bio-Repropedia berbasis RMS cukup memberikan peningkatan literasi Biologi peserta didik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Bio-Repropedia berbasis RMS layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan dapat memberikan peningkatan terhadap literasi Biologi peserta didik dalam memahami materi sistem reproduksi. **** The reproductive system is one of the material that is quite hard to understand for students because it has an abstract concept and a series of bioprocesses and complex mechanisms. This problem can be solved by the ability of biological literacy, the ability to understand and solve biological problems in daily life. Improved biological literacy skills can be assisted by the learning media in the form of Bio- Repropedia website based Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing (RMS). The purpose of this research is to develop a valid and effective Bio-Repropedia learning medium. The methods used are the methods of research and development of Borg & Gall with several stages, namely data collection, planning, product development, product validation, product revision, product testing, product improvement, and product effectiveness test. The research was conducted at SMAN 16 Jakarta in December - Juny 2020. Subjects of this research test included media experts, material experts, 20 small student groups, 72 large student groups, and biology teachers. The data analysis results obtained are normal and homogeneous distribution data and rejected H0. The results showed that the RMS-based Bio- Repropedia obtained an average value of 3.45 with a very valid and well-deserved interpretation. Average pretest and posttest sequential values are 57,00 and 86,00. The normalized gain value is 0,69, which shows that RMS-based Bio-Repropedia media provides an increase in the students ' biological literacy skills. The conclusion of this study suggests that RMS-based Bio-Repropedia deserves to be used as a learning medium and can provide improvements to the students' biological literacy skills in understanding the material of reproductive systems.
