Abstract
This research is aims to about the relationship between the big-five personality and knowledge about reproductive health with the healthy life motivation in DKI Jakarta Province. The method used was a survey with a correlational study involving 279 samples. There are three instruments that measure the healthy life motivation (rel. 971), big-five personality (rel. 937), and knowledge about reproductive health (rel. 874). The research data was carried out by multiple regression. Research results; 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between the big-five personality and the healthy life motivation, although controlled by the second order correlation; 2) there is a negative and significant relationship between knowledge about reproductive health and healthy life motivation, although it is controlled by the second order correlation;3) and there is a positive and significant relationship between big-five personality and knowledge about reproductive health together with the healthy life motivation. And also of the five factors, the big-five personality showed by the strongest to contribution to the healthy life motivation is extraversion and agreeableness. Therefore, it can be neglected that the healthy life motivation will be improved, so the big-five personality and knowledge about reproductive health must be considered. Key word: Healthy life motivation, big-five personality, and knowledge about reproduction health. ****** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara big-five personality,pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi (Kespro) dengan motivasi hidup sehat di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan studi korelasional dengan melibatkan 279 sampel. Ada tiga instrumen yang mengukur motivasi hidup sehat (rel. 971), big-five personality(rel. 937), dan pengetahuan tentang Kespro (rel. 874). Data penelitian dilakukan dengan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yakni; 1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara big-five personalitydengan motivasi hidup sehat, meski dikontrol oleh second order correlation; 2) terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara pengetahuan tentang Kespro dengan motivasi hidup sehat, meski dikontrol oleh second order correlation; dan 3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara big-five personalitydan pengetahuan tentang Kespro secara bersama-sama dengan motivasi hidup sehat. Dan juga dari kelima faktor big-five personality menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi paling kuat kepada motivasi hidup sehat adalahextraversiondan agreeableness. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi hidup sehat apabila akan ditingkatkan maka big-five personalitydan pengetahuan tentang Kespro harus diperhatikan.
