Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi implementasi kurikulum program keahlian usaha perjalanan wisata (UPW) di SMK Kota Mataram, yang meliputi: (1) komponen konteks, meliputi: latar belakang, dasar hukum, tujuan, dan sasaran; (2) komponen inputs, meliputi: perencanaan, meliputi: program kurikulum, pengelolaan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, peserta didik, sarana dan prasarana, dan pembiayaansekolah. (3) komponen proses, meliputi: perencanaan proses pembelajaran,pelaksanaan, penilaian hasil belajar, dan pengawasan. (4) komponen produk, meliputi:hasil uji kompetensi teori kejuruan, hasil uji kompetensi praktik kejuruan, hasil praktik kerja industri, dan keterserapan lulusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa implementasi kurikulum secara umum sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan, namun perlu adanya upaya perbaikan, diantaranya: (1) analisis kebutuhan seyogyanya dilakukan lebih komprehensif dan berkesinambungan sehingga informasi kebutuhan DU/DI (dunia usaha/dunia industri) lebih up to date; (2) pengelolaan keuangan dilakukan secara transparan; (3) pembinaan secara berkelanjutan kepada guru-guru produktif, (4) pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran seyogyanya sekolah perlu mempertimbangan rasio jumlah peserta didik, dan (5) meningkatkan standar mutu keterserapan lulusan pada DU/DI. Kata Kunci: evaluasi, kurikulum, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). ******** The purpose of this study was to evaluate the curriculum implementation of vocation program of travel agent (UPW) in Vocational School, Mataram City which included: (1) the context component, including: background, legal basis, objectives, and targets; (2) input components, including: planning, including: curriculum programs, management of educators and education staff, students, facilities and infrastructure, and school funding. (3) process components, including: learning process planning, implementation, assessment of learning outcomes, and supervision. (4) product components, including: the results of competency test of vocational theory, results of competency tests of vocational practice, results of industrial work practices, and absorption of graduates. This study uses a qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product). Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and study documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the curriculum in general is in accordance with established standards, but there needs to be improvements, including: (1) needs analysis should be done more comprehensively and continuously so that the information needs of DU / DI (business / industrial world) ) more up to date; (2) financial management is carried out transparently; (3) ongoing guidance to productive teachers, (4) implementation of the learning process should schools need to consider the ratio of the number of students, and (5) improving the quality standards of graduates absorption at DU / DI.
