************** The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that can affect the performance of rural banks. Measurement of performance using Return on Assets (Model 1a) and Net Interest Margin (Model 1b). The analysis in this study is an analysis of panel data with fixed effect approach to model 1a and 1b. From the results of this study, it is known that simultaneous ratio Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operational Efficiency (ROA), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL) and Size of Rural Bank (Size) effect on the measured performance of BPR by Return On Assets (ROA) and Net Interest Margin (NIM). In models 1a, CAR, BOPO and Size partially are significant effect on ROA.CAR has positive effect, BOPO and Size has negative effect. While NPL and LDR are no significant effect on ROA and the direction is positive. And in models 1b, partially CAR and Size are significant negative effect on NIM. While BOPO, NPL LDR and no significant effect on NIM and negative direction.
