Abstract
Pendekatan keterampilan proses merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang memberi penekanan pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas IV C SDN Cawang 07 Jakarta Timur pada Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan dua siklus. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 32 siswa, meliputi 15 laki-laki dan 17 perempuan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes dan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa dari 53% pada siklus I menjadi 93% pada siklus II; Capaian pada siklus II telah melampui target, yaitu 75%, 2) Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas siswa dari 38% pada siklus I menjadi 88% pada siklus II; Capaian pada siklus II juga telah melampaui target yaitu 75%. Aktivitas siswa tersebut meliputi menyelesaikan tugas secara berkelompok, mampu membuat peta pikiran, meramalkan suatu masalah, menafsirkan, merencanakan suatu percobaan, mempresentasikan dan berani untuk memberikan pendapat; 3) Terdapat peningkatan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran ketrampilan proses yaitu sebesar 56% pada siklus I menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Capaian ini telah melampaui target kriteria keberhasilan yaitu 75%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, aktivitas siswa dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendekatan ketrampilan proses. ************ Process skills approach is one approach that emphasizes the development of thinking skills in students. The purpose of the study was to analyze the improvement of critical thinking skills in science learning through a process skills approach. The study was conducted in class IV C SDN Cawang 07 East Jakarta in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The research method is classroom action research by applying two cycles. The research sample of 32 students, including 15 men and 17 women. Data were collected using tests and questionnaires. The results revealed that: 1) There was an increase in students' critical thinking skills from an average score of 71.88 in the first cycle to 82.81 in the second cycle; Achievements in cycle II have exceeded the target, which is 75, 2) There was an increase in student activity from 38% in cycle I to 88% in cycle II; The achievements in cycle II have also exceeded the target of 75%. The student's activities include completing assignments in groups, being able to make mind maps, predicting a problem, interpreting, planning an experiment, presenting and having the courage to give opinions; 3) There was an increase in student responses to process skills learning, namely 56% in cycle I to 88% in cycle II. This achievement has exceeded the success criteria target of 75%. The conclusion of this study is that students' critical thinking skills, student activities and student responses to science learning can be improved through the process skills approach.
