Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian lahan permukiman di Kota Bekasi, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup satuan lahan fisik yang berada pada permukiman di Kota Bekasi, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Unit analisis penelitian ini adalah unit satuan lahan. Teknik analisis data dalam evaluasi keseusian lahan ini menggunakan analisis spasial dan metode skoring. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat 3 kelas kesesuaian lahan yaitu kelas S1 Sangat Sesuai, kelas S2 Cukup Sesuai, dan kelas N1 Tidak Sesuai. Lahan dengan kelas S1 Sangat Sesuai memiliki luas 96,90 km2 atau 58 % dari jumlah total luas lahan di daerah Kota Bekasi yang berjumlah 210,49 km2. Lahan dengan kelas S2 Cukup Sesuai yaitu lahan yang cukup sesuai untuk permukiman digunakan untuk permukiman, dan lahan yang cukup sesuai untuk permukiman namun belum digunakan untuk permukiman. Lahan dengan kelas S2 Cukup Sesuai memiliki luas 48,18 km2 atau 22%. Lahan dengan kelas N Tidak Sesuai merupakan yaitu lahan yang tidak diperuntukan permukiman digunakan untuk permukiman, dan lahan yang diperuntukan permukiman tetapi tidak digunakan untuk permukiman. Lahan permukiman dengan kelas N tidak sesuai yang terdapat di Kota Bekasi memiliki luas total 40,75 km2 atau 20%. Alokasi lahan pengembangan permukiman diarahkan pada lahan dengan pertimbangan termasuk kedalam kesesuaian lahan dengan kategori sangat sesuai dan cukup sesuai. Luas wilayah yang menjadi arahan untuk pengembangan permukiman di Kota Bekasi yaitu 82,24 km2. *********** The purpose of this study is to evaluate the suitability of residential land in Bekasi City, West Java Province. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study includes physical land units located in settlements in Bekasi City, West Java Province. The unit of analysis in this research is the unit of land. The data analysis technique in evaluating land suitability uses spatial analysis and scoring methods. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 land suitability classes, namely S1 class Very Suitable, S2 class Sufficiently Suitable, and Class N1 Not Suitable. Land with class S1 Very Suitable has an area of 96.90 km2 or 58% of the total land area in the Bekasi City area, which amounts to 210.49 km2. Land with class S2 Sufficiently Appropriate, namely land that is sufficiently suitable for settlement to be used for settlement, and land which is sufficiently suitable for settlement but has not been used for settlement. Land with a Sufficiently Suitable S2 class has an area of 48.18 km2 or 22%. Land with class N Unsuitable is land that is not designated for settlements used for settlements, and land designated for settlements but not used for settlements. Residential land with class N which is not suitable in Bekasi City has a total area of 40.75 km2 or 20%. The allocation of land for residential development is directed at land with considerations including the suitability of land with the very suitable and quite suitable category. The area that becomes the direction for settlement development in Bekasi City is 82.24 km2.
