Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan pengusaha industri tempe terhadap pengolahan limbah industri dan untuk mengetahui dampak adanya industri tempe di RW 002 Kelurahan Pasar Minggu Jakarta Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu pengusaha industri tempe dan penduduk yang tinggal di sekitar saluran air pembuangan limbah tempe untuk mengetahui dampak disekitar industri tempe. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder seperti data jumlah industri dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), data jumlah industri rumah tangga dari Kelurahan Pasar Minggu, data jumlah penduduk RW 002 dari ketua RW 002 Kelurahan Pasar Minggu dan buku-buku relevan mengenai limbah industri, pencemaran lingkungan serta pengelolaan limbah untuk melengkapi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan pengusaha Industri Tempe di Kelurahan Pasar Minggu terhadap pengolahan limbah industri berada pada tahap tingkat pengetahuan memahami atau mengerti, hal itu dikarenakan para pengusaha Industri tempe memahami atau mengerti dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan dari kegiatan industri tempe. Tingkat pengetahuan pengusaha industri tempe mendapatkan nilai <56% atau tingkat pengetahuan rendah. Sedangkan penduduk yang tinggal di sekitar saluran air pembuangan limbah tempe merasakan sebesar 87,50% saluran air menjadi bau dan kotor, saluran air tersebut juga tersumbat sebesar 72,22%, menjadi banyak ampas kedelai sebesar 77,78% dan menjadi berubah warna sebesar 86,11%. Pada saat produksi tempe sebesar 48,61% penduduk merasakan udara menjadi berasap. Keberadaan industri tempe dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan sebesar 68,06% serta dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi penduduk sekitar sebesar 48,61%, sehingga adanya industri tempe memberikan banyak pendatang untuk bekerja sebesar 77,78%. Kata Kunci: Tingkat Pengetahuan, Pengolahan Limbah Industri, Dampak. *************** This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of tempe industry entrepreneurs on industrial waste processing and to determine the impact of the tempe industry in RW 002, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with the research subjects, namely entrepreneurs of the Tempe Industry and residents who live around the tempe waste disposal channel. The data collection technique uses a closed questionnaire carried out by interview, observation, documentation. In addition, this study uses secondary data such as data on the number of industries from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), data on the number of home industries from Pasar Minggu Village, data on the number of residents of RW 002 from the chairman of RW 002 Kelurahan Pasar Minggu and relevant books on industrial waste, environmental pollution as well as waste management to complement. The data analysis technique in this research is using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of knowledge of the Tempe Industry entrepreneurs in Pasar Minggu Urban Village towards industrial waste processing is at the level of knowledge level understanding or understanding, this is because the tempe industry entrepreneurs understand or understand the environmental impact caused by the tempe industrial activities. The level of knowledge of the tempe industry entrepreneurs got a value of <56% or a low level of knowledge. Meanwhile, residents who live around the tempe waste disposal channel feel 87.50% of the drains become smelly and dirty, the drains are also clogged by 72.22%, become a lot of soybean dregs by 77.78% and change color by 86,11%. At the time of tempe production, 48.61% of the population felt the air had become smoky. The existence of the tempe industry can create employment for 68.06% and can increase the economic income of the population around 48.61%, so that the tempe industry provides many newcomers to work by 77.78%.
