Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TKRO 1 di SMK Malaka Jakarta melalui penggunaan media video. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model siklus dari Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan empat tahapan pada tiap siklusnya yaitu, tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan/observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar. Data tentang hasil belajar diperoleh melalui tes kemudian dianalisis untuk membandingkan hasil ujian pada setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PDTO dengan menggunakan media video. Adanya peningkatan hasil belajar terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata nilai tes. Rata-rata nilai tes tertulis pada pada awal Pra Siklus hanya 73,3 (57%) meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 75,8 (70%) dan meningkat lagi menjadi 82,2 (100%) di siklus II dari 30 siswa. Hal ini menandakan siswa telah berhasil melewati batas nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) 75 yang ditentukan oleh sekolah dalam mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Teknik Otomotif (PDTO). The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of class X TKRO I students at SMK Malaka Jakarta through the use of video media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a cycle model from Kemmis and Taggart which consists of 2 cycles with four stages in each cycle, namely, the planning stage, the implementation of actions, observation / observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 30 students. Data collection techniques used a learning outcomes tests. Data on learning outcomes were obtained through tests and then analyzed to compare the results of the tests in each cycle. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes on PDTO subjects using the video media. The increase in learning achievement can be seen from the increase in the average value of the written test score. the average written test score in pre cycle was 73,3 (57%) increased at the first cycle to 75.8 (70%) and increased again to 82.2 (100%) in second cycle of 30 students. This indicates that students have succeeded in passing the value limit minimum completeness criteria (KKM) 75 determined by the school in the subject of Automotive Engineering Basic Work (PDTO).
