Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis unsur-unsur kebahasaan inklusi dan eksklusi sebagai pembentuk framing pada 3 berita-berita pilihan dari Tirto.id dan Viva.co.id. Data-data tersebut dipilih berdasarkan tanggal, yaitu 25, 26, dan 27 September 2019 terkait isu penolakan RUU KPK. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur. Data-data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis agih. Unsur-unsur kebahasaan dalam berita tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teori analisis wacana kritis Van Leeuwen. Inklusi adalah strategi pelibatan/pemasukan aktor tertentu dalam wacana. Eksklusi adalah strategi pengeluaran aktor tertentu dalam wacana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam berita keduanya melakukan jenis upaya yang sama dalam menuliskan berita, tetapi berbeda dalam urutan dan proporsi. Tirto.id memiliki 135 data eksklusi dan inklusi yang didominasi diferensiasi-indeferensiasi, pasivisasi, determinasi-indeterminasi, dan nominasi-kategorisasi yang penggunaannya berusaha untuk mendekatkan isu penolakan RUU KPK kepada pembaca; dan dalam berita Viva.co.id 68 didominasi oleh diferensiasi-indeferensiasi, determinasi-indeterminasi, nominasi-identifikasi, dan nominasi-kategorisasi yang penggunaannya berusaha untuk mengalihkan pembaca dari isu penolakan RUU KPK. This study aims to determine and analyze elements of the language of inclusion and exclusion as a shaper of framing on 3 selected news of Tirto.id and Viva.co.id. Those data was selected based on these dates, 25, 26, and 27 September 2019 related to the issue of the rejection of the KPK Bill. This research is descriptive-qualitative. Data collection was performed by literature study method. The data were analyzed using analysis distributional techniques . Elements of language in the news are analyzed using the Van Leeuwen's theory of critical discourse analysis. Inclusion is a strategy of engagement of a particular actor in the discourse. Exclusion is a strategy of ejecting a certain actor in the discourse. The results showed that in the both selected news, the writer did the same effort in writing the news, but different in sequence and proportion. Tirto.id have 135 results of exclusion and inclusion which is dominated by differentiation-indefferentiation, passivation, determination-indetermination, and nomination-categorization which attempted to bring the issue of the rejection of the KPK Bill to the reader; and on Viva.co.id 68 results dominated by differentiation-indeferentiation, determination-indetermination, nomination-identification, and a nomination-categorization which attempt to divert readers from the issue of the rejection of the KPK Bill.
