Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara insentif guru dan kepuasan kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan yang terletak di Kecamatan Koja Jakarta Utara. Tiga instrumen penelitian digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yang relevan yaitu angket insentif guru, angket kepuasan kerja guru, dan angket kinerja guru. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 145 guru. Sampel penelitian adalah 106 partisipan. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif seperti rata-rata, nilai maksimum dan minimum, deviasi standar dan analisis regresi. Paket Statistik Ilmu Sosial (SPSS) digunakan untuk menganalisis data kuantitatif dan data yang dianalisis disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik batang. Ada signifikansi statistik dan hubungan yang kuat antara insentif, kepuasan kerja guru dan kinerja guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan yang terletak di Kecamatan Koja Jakarta Utara. Hubungan kedua variabel independen secara simultan (insentif dan kepuasan kerja), kontribusinya 50,6% terhadap kinerja dan sisanya 49,4% disumbangkan oleh variabel lain. Rekomendasi: Pemerintah khususnya dinas pendidikan dan manajemen sekolah harus memberikan insentif motivasi seperti penghargaan, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, bonus, karir dan juga guru harus diberikan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif untuk memuaskan mereka, untuk tujuan menciptakan kepuasan kerja. This study examined the relationship between teachers’ incentive and teachers’ job satisfaction on teachers’ job performance in vocational high schools located in Koja sub district North Jakarta. Three research instruments were used to collect relevant data from the subjects, teachers’ incentive questionnaire, teachers’ job satisfaction questionnaire and teachers’ job performance questionnaire. The population of the study is 145 teachers. A sample of the study was 106 participants. Quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean, maximums and minimums, standard deviation and regression analysis. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the quantitative data and the analyzed data was presented in form of tables and bar-graphs. There is a statistical significance and strong relationship between incentives, teachers job satisfaction and teachers job performance in vocational high schools located in Koja sub district North Jakarta. The simultaneous relationship of the two independent variables (incentive and job satisfaction), the contribution is 50.6% to the performance and the remaining 49.4% is contributed by other variable. Recommendations: The state government and school management should provide motivational incentives such as awards, provision facilities and infrastructure, bonus, career and also and the teachers should be provided with conducive working environment in order to satisfy them, in return leading to job satisfaction.
