Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat di daerah Kukusan tentang adanya komunitas LGBT. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang tinggal di lingkup kelurahan kukusan. Teknik Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebenarnya masyarakat menolak adanya komunitas LGBT. Kebanyakan dari masyarakat sudah mengetahui LGBT, baik dalam waktu baru-baru ini atau pun yang sudah lama, dan hanya sebagian kecil dari masyarakat yang menggunakan smartphone mereka untuk mencari informasi lebih lanjut mengenai LGBT, selebihnya mereka hanya tahu secara umum. This study aims to knowing how the publics perception of the LGBT community exists in the village of Kukusan. The research method used is descriptive. The subject of this research are people who live in the scope of the Kukusan Village. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling. The result of this study show that the community actually rejects the existence of the LGBT community. Most of the people have known LGBT, either recently or long ago, and only a small part of society uses they smartphones to find more information about LGBT, and others only know in general terms.
