Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kebijakan jurnalistik olahraga Majalah Tempo yang terbit pada 1971-2015, dengan metode evaluasi menggunakan model CIPP yang dikembangkan oleh Stufflebeam meliputi komponen Context: (1) SIUPP dan Pedoman Kerja, (2) Visi dan Misi/Kode Etik (3) Manajemen Redaksi. (4) Pendidikan dan Latihan. Selanjutnya Input : (1) Redaksi, (2) Rekrutmen, (3) Daya dukung Sarana dan prasarana, (4) Daya dukung dana/Sedangkan Process: (1) Pengorganisasian Redaksi, (2) Respon Pembaca, (3) Perlidungan Hukum bagi Wartawan. Terakhir komponen Product: (1) Distribusi Majalah Tempo (2) Kritik Pembaca, (3) Penghargaan Pihak Lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, angket, dan studi dokumen. Informan penelitian adalah wartawan dan redaktur, serta bagian Pusat Dokumentasi dan Informasi majalah Tempo, serta Pemimpin Redaksi Tempo. Lokasi Penelitian di Jakarta, yakni di kantor Majalah Tempo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kesesuaian SIUPP dan Pedoman Kerja, visi, misi/Kode Etik dengan kebijakan serta komitmen semua sumber daya manusia Majalah Tempo dalam memproses hasil karya jurnalistik olahraga. Sehingga produk majalah Tempo memiliki berita yang memenuhi kriteria penulisan jurnalistik olahraga, kendati berita-berita tententu mendapat respon bernada kritik atau protes terhadap Majalah Tempo. Beberapa penghargaan dan award dari pihak lain diterima Majalah Tempo sebagai media nasional yang menyajikan berbagai berita termasuk berita olahraga. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah Majalah Tempo memiiliki modal intelektual dan kemampuan dalam menerapkan jurnalistik olahraga, sehingga dapat dipertahankan dan menjadi referensi untuk meningkatkan ilmu jurnalistik olahraga di masa datang.************The purpose of this study was to evaluate the sports journalism policy of Tempo Magazine which was published in 1971-2015, with the evaluation method using the CIPP model developed by Stufflebeam which includes the following context components: (1) SIUPP and Work Guidelines, (2) Vision and Mission / Code of Ethics (3) Editorial Management. (4) Education and Exercise. Next Input: (1) Editor, (2) Recruitment, (3) Carrying capacity of facilities and infrastructure, (4) Carrying capacity of funds/Whereas Process: (1) Organizing Editor, (2) Reader Response, (3) Protection Law for Journalists. Last component of Product: (1) Tempo Magazine Distribution (2) Reader's Criticism, (3) Other Party Appreciation. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection with interviews, questionnaires, and study documents. Research informants are journalists and editors, and the Tempo Magazine Documentation and Information Center, and Editor in Chief Tempo. Research location in Jakarta, namely at the Tempo Magazine office. The results of this study indicate the suitability of the SIUPP and the Work Guidelines, vision, mission / Code of Ethics with the policy and commitment of all human resources of the Magazine Tempo in processing the work of sports journalism. So Tempo magazine products has news that meets the criteria for writing sports journalism, despite the news certainly received a response pitched in criticism or protest against Tempo Magazine. Some awards and awards from other parties were received by Tempo Magazine as a national media presents various news including sports news. The conclusion of the research is Magazine Tempo has intellectual capital and the ability to apply sports journalism, so that it can be maintained and become a reference to improve journalism future sports.
