Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) dan buku panduan penggunaan media pembelajaran Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) yang berguna untuk mengenalkan huruf Braille a-z dalam bentuk asli huruf Braille serta suara dari huruf tersebut bagi peserta didik tunanetra. Media pembelajaran ini menggunakan metode ¬Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan Sugiyono yang meliputi tahap potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, perbaikan desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk. Uji coba produk dilakukan oleh tiga ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli ketunanetra dengan hasil rata-rata keseluruhan yang dicapai adalah baik, yaitu dengan nilai 3,1 dari nilai maksimal 4. Media pembelajaran Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) diujicobakan kepada satu orang peserta didik kelas III di SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Lebak Bulus. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) ini dapat digunakan untuk mengenalkan huruf Braille a-z. Diharapkan guru dapat mempergunakan media pembelajaran Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) dalam pembelajaran mengenal huruf Braille. The research of this research is to development a product of Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) learning media and guidebook of Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) learning media that is useful for introducing a-z Braille letters in the original form of Braille letters and the sound of the letters for visual impairment students. This learning media uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with Sugiyono's development model which includes potentials and problems, information gathering, product design, design validation, design improvement, product testing, product revision. Product testing was carried out by three experts namely theory experts, media experts, and visually impaired experts with average overall results achieved were good, with a value of 3.1 from the maximum value 4. Learning media Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) was tested on one participant grade III students in SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Lebak Bulus. The results of this study indicate that the learning media of the Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) can be used to introduce Braille letters A-Z. It is hoped that the teacher can use the Box Braille Voice (BRAVO) learning media in learning to recognize Braille letters.
