Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan intensitas perilaku negatif pengucapan kata umpatan pada peserta didik tunagrahita dengan intervensi menggunakan teknik token ekonomi dengan menggunakan token bintang menghasilkan penguatan positif berupa hadiah dan token tanda silang menghasilkan penguatan negatif berupa perintah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SLB C Sinar Kasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode single subject research yang merupakan salah satu jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal. Model penelitian yang dipilih adalah A-B-A, dimana A untuk pemantauan sebelum intervensi dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan, B untuk intervensi dilakukan 5 kali pertemuan, dan A’ untuk pemantauan setelah intervensi dilakukan dengan 3 kali pertemuan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan jika intensitas pengucapan kata umpatan terus menurun dan mampu menghilangkan 2 kata selama intervensi berlangsung. Hal ini membuktikan jika teknik token ekonomi merupakan intervensi yang tepat untuk menurunkan intensitas pengucapan kata umpatan pada peserta didik tunagrahita. Khususnya guru di kelas dapat melaksanakan teknik untuk menurunkan intensitas pengucapan kata umpatan, hingga menghilangkan perilaku tersebut. Reduce The Intensity of Negative Behavior of Swear Word Pronunciation in Deaf Learners With Token Economy Techniques This study aimed to reduce the intensity of negative behavior swear word pronunciation in learners with mental retardation by intervening using token economy techniques by using star tokens resulting in positive reinforcement in the form of gifts and cross tokens resulting in negative reinforcement in the form of commands. The research was conducted in SLB C Sinar Kasih. The research method used is a single subject research method which is one type of experimental research with a single subject. The selected research model is A-B-A, A for monitoring before intervention is done 3 times meeting, B for intervention is done 5 times meeting, and A' for monitoring after intervention is done with 3 meetings. The results of this study showed that the intensity of swear words continued to decrease and was able to eliminate 2 words during the intervention.This proves that the token economy technique is the right intervention to reduce the intensity of swear word pronunciation in visually impaired learners. Especially teachers in the classroom can carry out techniques to reduce the intensity of swear words, to eliminate such behavior.
