Abstract
ABSTRAK RISDELA VERFIA PURNOMO. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create And Share (SSCS) Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Pada Materi Keanekaragaman Hayati. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Februari 2021. Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad 21 yang menjadi bagian dari tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Siswa perlu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritisnya untuk menghadapi tantangan global. Keterampilan berpikir kritis mendorong siswa untuk mencari solusi dari berbagai permasalahan nyata dalam kehidupan. Model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create And Share (SSCS) dalam pembelajaran materi keanekaragaman hayati melibatkan siswa secara langsung dalam penyelidikan dan pemecahan masalah. Penerapan model SSCS diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa untuk mendapatkan solusi dari permasalahan keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SSCS terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah SMA pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bekasi pada semester 1 Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 69 siswa kelas X MIPA yang dipilih secara acak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pretest-posttest control group design dan data dianalisis dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa model SSCS berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Critical thinking skills is one of the 21st century skills that are part of the goals of education in Indonesia. Students need to develop their critical thinking skills to face global challenges. Critical thinking skills encourage students to find solutions to real problems in life. The Search, Solve, Create And Share (SSCS) learning model in learning biodiversity materials involves students directly in investigating and solving problems. The application of the SSCS model is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills to obtain solutions to biodiversity problems. This study aims to determine the effect of the SSCS learning model on critical thinking skills of high school students on biodiversity material. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Bekasi City in the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The number of research samples were 69 students of class X MIPA who were randomly selected. The method used was the pretestposttest control group design method and the data were analyzed by t-test. The results showed that the SSCS model has an effect on improving the critical thinking skills of high school students on biodiversity material.
