Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar keterampilan menulis teks berita melalui film “Jembatan Pensil”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan Research and Development dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Pada tahap analisis dilakukan analisis kurikulum, analisis bahan ajar, dan analisis materi. Pada tahap perancangan dilakukan pembuatan peta konsep dan diagram alur (flowchart) untuk merancang kegiatan belajar dalam produk yang akan dikembangkan. Pada tahap pengembangan dilakukan penyusunan bahan ajar. Pada tahap implementasi dilakukan uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Uji coba produk dilakukan di SMP Negeri 171 Jakarta dengan subjek penelitian kelas VIII sejumlah 36 orang. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata penilaian dari validator, yaitu ahli materi dengan persentase sebesar 86,67% (dalam kategori sangat baik), ahli media setelah revisi dengan persentase sebesar 100% (dalam kategori sangat baik), dan guru Bahasa Indonesia dengan persentase sebesar 88,28% (dalam kategori sangat baik). Selain itu, penilaian respons siswa pada uji coba bahan ajar yaitu dengan persentase 86,62% (dalam kategori sangat baik), dan respons siswa pada film “Jembatan Pensil” sebagai media pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks berita dengan persentase 94,35% (dalam kategori sangat baik). Setelah uji coba dilakukan, tahap selanjutnya yaitu evaluasi terhadap bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan respons guru dan siswa. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar keterampilan menulis teks berita melalui media film “Jembatan Pensil” layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar yang baik untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP. Kata kunci: bahan ajar, keterampilan menulis teks berita, media film This study aims to develop teaching materials for news text writing skills through the "Jembatan Pensil" film. Based on the average results of validators assessment, are material experts with a percentage of 86.67% (in the excellent category), media expert after revision with a percentage of 100% (in the excellent category), and the Indonesian teachers with a percentage of 88,28% (in excellent category). In addition, the student's response to the assessment test instructional materials, namely the percentage of 86.62% (in the excellent category), and the student's response to the film "Jembatan Pensil" as a learning medium news text writing skills with the percentage 94.35% (in category very good). After the product tested, the next stage was teaching materials evaluation that developed based on teacher and student responses. Can be concluded that the teaching material for writing news text skills through the "Jembatan Pensil" film is proper to used as a good teaching material for grade 8th Junior High School students.
