Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertimbangan pasar kerja dan risiko profesi terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik dan apakah penghargaan finansial mampu memoderasi hubungan antara pertimbangan pasar kerja dan risiko profesi terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner online. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah snowball sampling. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa akuntansi semester akhir Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang masih berstatus aktif dan memilih konsentrasi audit. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa pertimbangan pasar kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik dan risiko profesi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik, serta penghargaan finansial mampu memoderasi hubungan antara pertimbangan pasar kerja dan risiko profesi terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik. ***** This study aims to analyze the effect of job market consideration and risk of a profession on students interest to become a public accountant and the financial reward will be able to moderate relation between job market consideration and risk of a profession on students interest to become a public accountant. The method of data collection is done by using online questionnaire. The method used in sampling is snowball sampling. The unit of analysis in this research is the final semester of accounting students at State University of Jakarta who still active and choose the concentration of auditing. The results of this research shows that job market consideration have significant effects on students interest to become a public accountant, risk of a profession doesn’t have significant effects on students interest to become a public account-ants and the financial reward is able to moderate the relation between the job market consideration and the risk of a profession on students interest to become a public accountants.
