Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja layanan pendidikan bagi anak disabilitas dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru SLB di yayasan tersebut serta pendamping anak disabilitas yang melayani anak disabilitas Di Yayasan Elsafan. Pengambilan sample dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan subjek sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa yayasan elsafan memegang peran dalam pemberian layanan pendidikan anak disabilitas. Prinsip layanan pendidikan di Yayasan Elsafan adalah Sustainable education atau pendidikan berkelanjutan. Yayasan Elsafan memiliki 2 program besar yakni program dibidang akademik serta program dibidang non akademik. Dalam memberikan layanan pendidikan akademik, meliputi pembelajaran pada umumnya dengan materi pembelajaran yang mengikuti kurikulum 2013 yang dibuat oleh MENDIKBUD dengan menambahkan program pelayanan yakni mengenai mengasah ketrampilan dasar bagi siswa. Proses pembelajaran dikelas, guru yang mengajar harus lebih sabar dan melakukan pendekatan yang lebih humanis. Dengan berdirinya SLB menjadi wujud nyata yayasan elsafan memberikan peran dalam pemberian layanan pendidikan anak disabilitas. Selain program akademik ada juga program non akademik. Dalam program non akademik terdapat pelayanan ketrampilan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kemandirian anak disabilitas seperti belajar memakai baju, bagaimana merespon ketika ingin buang air, belajar untuk makan secara mandiri, menganyam, bermain music, ketrampilan mencuci piring, membersihkan ruang kelas. Pencapaian dari program pendidikan yang telah dilakukan adalah anak –anak disabilitas memiliki prestasi dibidang olahraga, bidang seni, dan dibidang literasi. Yayasan Elsafan juga memiliki panti asuhan yang melayani anak disabilitas secara utuh tanpa membeda-bedakan latar belakang dari masing masing anak yang ada. Layanan akademik yang dibuat hanya tertuju pada perkembangan anak disabilitas baik perkembangan akademik, psikis, fisik, dan kepribadian sehingga orang tua siswa disabilitas dapat terus mendukung proses perkembangan. The results of this study indicate that the Elsafan Foundation plays a role in providing education services for children with disabilities. The principle of educational services at the Elsafan Foundation is Sustainable education. Elsafan Foundation has 2 major programs, namely programs in the academic field and programs in the non-academic field. In providing academic education services, covering learning in general with learning materials that follow the 2013 curriculum made by MENDIKBUD by adding a service program that is about honing basic skills for students. The learning process in class, teachers who teach must be more patient and take a more humanist approach. With the establishment of SLB, it has become a tangible form of the Elsafan foundation to play a role in providing education services for children with disabilities. Apart from academic programs there are also non-academic programs. In non-academic programs, there are skills services that aim to improve the independence of children with disabilities such as learning to wear clothes, how to respond when they want to go to the bathroom, learning to eat independently, weaving, playing music, washing dishes skills, cleaning classrooms. The achievement of the education program that has been carried out is that children with disabilities have achievements in the fields of sports, arts, and literacy. Elsafan Foundation also has an orphanage that serves children with disabilities as a whole without discriminating the background of each child. Academic services that are made are only focused on the development of children with disabilities in terms of academic, psychological, physical and personal development so that parents of students with disabilities can continue to support the development process.
