Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media sosial terhadap kecemasan sosial pada remaja. Pengukuran intensitas penggunaan media sosial menggunakan alat ukur Social Networking Time Use Scale dan pengukuran kecemasan sosial menggunakan Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescent. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 128 remaja. Data kemudian diolah dengan teknik statistik analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan F 1,520; P < 0,05 yang menandakan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan kecemasan sosial pada remaja. ************* This study aims to look at the effect of the intensity of use of social media to social anxiety in adolescents. Measuring the intensity of social media use uses the Social Networking Time Use Scale measurement tool and social anxiety measurement uses the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescent. The number of participants in this study were 128 adolescents. The data is then processed using simple linear regression analysis statistical techniques. The results showed F 1.520; P <0.05, which indicates that there is no significant influence between the intensity of social media use and social anxiety in adolescents.
