Abstract

Latar belakang pada penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan masalah yang dialami oleh pendaki gunung pemula. Masalah tersebut antara lain kurangnya pengetahuan dan pengalaman sehingga angka kecelakaan saat mendaki gunung semakin tinggi. Oleh karena itu, para pendaki gunung pemula perlu memiliki panduan dalam kegiatan hiking agar bisa menunjang pendakian pertamanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat model berupa panduan hiking berbasis desain infografis dan melihat keefektifan model tersebut dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan pendaki gunung pemula. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2020 - Januari 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and Development (R & D) berdasarkan langkah - langkah pengembangan model ADDIE. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan melalui studi literatur, observasi di lapangan, dan juga melalui hasil wawancara terhadap narasumber. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh 2 ahli dan menggunakan teknik korelasi poin biserial. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 pendaki gunung pemula. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung skor jawaban dan menginterpretasikannya menjadi persentase untuk melihat keefektifan model yang dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, didapatkan hasil bahwa model panduan hiking berbasis desain infografis tidak termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Efektif" karena mendapat skor 0 dengan persentase 0%, tetapi termasuk dalam kategori "Efektif" karena mendapat skor 11 dengan persentase 73%, sedangkan pada kategori "Tidak Efektif" mendapat skor 4 dengan persentase 27%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model panduan hiking berbasis desain infografis efektif dan layak digunakan untuk menambah pengetahuan para pendaki gunung pemula. These problems include a lack of knowledge and experience so that the number of accidents when climbing mountains is getting higher. Therefore, beginner mountain climbers need to have a guide for climbing activities in order to support their first climb. The purpose of this study was to create a model in the form of a hiking guide based on the infographic design and see the effectiveness of the model in increasing the knowledge of novice mountain climbers. This research was conducted in October 2020 - January 2021. This study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method based on the ADDIE model development steps. Collecting data in this study is by conducting needs analysis through literature studies, field observations, and also through interviews with informants. The validity test was carried out by 2 experts and used the biserial point correlation technique. The subjects in this study were 15 beginner mountain climbers. The data analysis technique is done by calculating the answer score and interpreting it into a percentage to see the effectiveness of the model being developed. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the hiking guide model based on the infographic design was not included in the "Very Effective" category because it got a score of 0 with a percentage of 0%, but was included in the "Effective" category because it got a score of 11 with a percentage of 73%, while in the category "Ineffective" got a score of 4 with a percentage of 27%. Thus it can be concluded that the climbing guide model based on the infographic design is effective and feasible to use to increase the knowledge of novice mountain climbers.
