Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari pengembangan program pembelajaran mitigasi bencana letusan gunung api bagi anak usia dini. Penelitian ini mengembangkan produk berupa “Buku Panduan Kegiatan Bermain Kreatif Mitigasi Bencana Letusan Gunung Api” dan “Video Pembelajaran Interaktif” sebagai media pendukungnya. Program ini dapat dijadikan alternatif dan memberikan kontribusi untuk pendidik dalam mengimplmentasikan mitigasi bencana letusan gunung api bagi peserta didik usia 5-6 tahun dalam proses pembelajaran melalui kegiatan bermain yang menyenangkan sesuai dengan minat dan karakteristik perkembangan peserta didik. Program ini dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan tujuan menumbuhkan pengetahuan dan sikap peserta didik dalam menghadapi bencana letusan gunung api. Selain itu, sebagai upaya pengurangan resiko serta kesiapan dalam mempersiapkan generasi tangguh bencana di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian ini melibatkan 1 pendidik PAUD, 4 peserta didik usia 5-6 tahun, ahli media, dan ahli materi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan skala 1-4, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kepada peserta didik. Dari hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh nilai keseluruhan dari pendidik sebesar 82,5%, dari hasil uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun sebesar 96,4%, hasil dari ahli media sebesar 100%, dan hasil dari ahli materi sebesar 91,67%. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut program mitigasi bencana letusan gunung api bagi anak usia dini dikategorikan sangat layak digunakan dan sudah berhasil mengembangkan pengetahuan dan sikap peserta didik dalam menghadapi bencana letusan gunung api. This research is a section of mitigation program development of volcanic eruption disaster for early children in early childhood education institutions. The product that is developed in this research is “Guidebook for Creative Playing for Mitigation of Volcanic Eruption Disaster”, and “Interactive Learning Videos” as the supporting media. The program can be an alternative and contributes at once for educators in implementing the mitigation of volcanic eruption disaster for students of age 5-6 years in learning through the fun play activities based on their interests and characteristics. This program is brought off by the researcher with the aim to foster the awareness and student’s demeanour in facing volcanic eruption disaster. Furthermore, this also leads as an effort to minimise the risk and is as a readiness in order to build the resilient generation of disasters in the future. The development design that is used in this research is ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). An early-childhood educator, 4 students of age 5-6 years, media experts, and material experts are involved in this research. The data are collected through questionnaires with the scale between 1 until 4, interviews, and documentations of the students. From the test results, the obtained total score of educators is 82,5%; the limited test score result of students age 5-6 years is 96,4%; the total score of media experts is 100%; and the total score of material experts is 91,67%. According to the results above, the mitigation programme of volcanic eruption disaster is categorized as reasonable to be applied and has succeeded to elaborate the awareness and student’s demeanour in facing volcanic eruption disaster.
