Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media self-help book dalam mengatasi stres akademik dengan menggunakan teknik Self-Instruction pada peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta dengan subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 80 peserta didik kelas X. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik wawancara, penyebaran skala psikologis dan angket kepada peserta didik. Hasil uji validasi oleh ahli media mendapat persentase sebesar 88,8% (Sangat Layak) dan dari ahli materi mendapat persentase sebesar 84,7% (Sangat Layak). Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa media self-help book untuk mengatasi stres akademik pada peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta ini “Sangat Layak”. Kata Kunci: Model ADDIE, Self-Help Book, Stres Akademik, Self-Instruction The purpose of this study was to develop a self-help book media in dealing with academic stress by using the Self Instruction technique for class X students in Mohammad Husni Thamrin Favorite High School Jakarta. This study was included in Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The study was conducted at Mohammad Husni Thamrin Favorite High School Jakarta with the study subjects as many as 80 students of class X. Data collection method used an interview techniques, psychological scale distribution and questionnaires to students. The results of the validation test by media experts get a percentage 88,8% (Very Feasible) and from the material experts get a percentage 84,7% (Very Feasible). Therefore, it can be concluded media self-help book to deal with academic stress in class X Mohammad Husni Thamrin Favorite High School Jakarta was a proper way to be employed.
