Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi usaha komunitas pemulung, sebagai upaya pemberdayaan . Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis anotasi bibliografi. Analisis anotasi bibliografi merupakan kesimpulan sederhana untuk memberikan informasi penting sebagai landasan penelitian lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa potensi usaha untuk komunitas pemulung yaitu dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya yang ada menjadi alternatif pendapatan yang lebih bernilai jual melalui pengolahan daur ulang sampah sebagai kreasi souvenir atau kerajinan tangan yang menarik dan bernilai jual tinggi, daur ulang sampah organik menjadi pupuk kompos dan pakan ternak, dan peluang usaha digital sebagai media pemasarannya. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan upaya pemberdayaan yang dilakukan untuk pemulung dengan memberikan pemahaman berupa pelatihan dan penyuluhan yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan mereka sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Pemulung, potensi, peluang usaha ABSTRACT This literature study aims to know the potential business as an empowerment among the waste-pickers communities. This study uses qualitative methodology with literature study, observation, interview and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis technique used in this study is annotated bibliography analysis. Annotated bibliography is basically a simple conclusion meant to provide important information as a basis for a further research. The research shows that type of business opportunity that is possible for the waste-pickers communities is through waste recycling concept; by making the waste they picked as a souvenir or handicrafts with attractive design and a high selling value. Or if it is an organic waste, they can process it into a compost or fodder, and digital business opportunity as a marketing medium to promote their products. Therefore, such empowerment is needed by these waste-pickers communities in order to get them understood by giving them training and guidance related to their daily work Kata Kunci: Waste picker, Potential, Business Opportunity
