Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media informasi karier sebagai rekomendasi pilihan jurusan berbasis aplikasi android bernama rencana karir. Media yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah aplikasi berbasis android dengan tiga fitur utama kenali diri, informasi studi dan info lainnya.Pertama, fitur kenali diri berisi tes psikologi yang akan membantu merekomendasikan pilihan jurusan. Kedua, fitur informasi studi berisi informasi dari jenis jenjang semakolah menengah atas atau sederajat. Ketiga, fitur info lainnya berisi artikel karier dengan tiga tema yaitu karier, keterampilan dan isu yang dikemas dalam bentuk poster. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model waterfall oleh Sommerville yang memiliki lima tahap pelaksanaan pengembangan yaitu analisis dan spesifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan sistem dan perangkat lunak, implementasi dan pengujian unit, pengujian sistem dan integrasi, serta perbaikan dan pengoperasian. Penelitian dilakukan di empat SMP Negeri di Jakarta yaitu SMP Negeri 40 , SMP Negeri 61, SMP Negeri 120 dan SMP Negeri 177 dengan populasi kelas VII dan VIII sejaumlah 12.350 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket kepada peserta didik secara online melalui google form. Pengujian terhadap aplikasi ini dilakukan dengan development testing, release testing, dan user testing. Pada development testing dilakukan oleh peneliti dan pengembang untuk pengujian fitur. Pada releas testing melalui uji ahli media menghasilkan persentase sebesar 100% (sangat layak) dan user testing melalui uji ahli materi sebesar 70% (layak). Pada pengujian user oleh perserta didik mendapatkan hasil persentase sebesar 91,10% (sangat layak), sehingga aplikasi rencana karier ini dapat dikatakan layak digunakan oleh peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat mempermudah peserta didik dalam mengekplorasi informasi karier dan jurusan yang sesuai, sekaligus menumbuhkan rasa perduli peserta didik dengan pilihan kariernya. Kata Kunci : Rencana Karier, Informasi Karier, Pilihan Karier, Aplikasi Android ABSTRACT This study aims to develop career of information media as a recommendation to choose major based on an android application which called a career plan. The media that used for these research is an android application with three main features including: self-identification, study information, and other information. First, the self-identify feature which contains a psychological test that will help you choose a suitable major. Second, the information feature which contains information from the types of senior high school level grade or equivalent. Third, another info feature which contains career articles with three themes including, career, skills, and issues which are packaged in the form of posters.These kind of research using method "Research and Development (R&D)" with kind of model 'the waterfall' by Sommerville which has five stages of development implementation including; analysis and specification of requirements, system and software planning, implementation and unit testing, system testing and integration, and also improvement and operation. The study will involving in four state Junior High Schools in Jakarta including, SMP Negeri 40, SMP Negeri 61, SMP Negeri 120 and SMP Negeri 177 by taking population sample class from grade 7th to grade 8th with totaling 12,350 students. Method of collecting sample by using incidental sampling technique. How to collect information by spread out to students via online through a google form. Testing of these application will implemented by development testing, release testing, and user testing. In development testing will implemented by researchers and developers to test of features. For the release testing will implemented by media expert and get 100% precentage (very feasible), and for user testing by material expert testing get 70% (feasible). The test users by students get 91.10% (very feasible), so that this career plan application might said is suitable to use by students. The results of these study make students easy to explore career information and suitable major for them, as well as foster a sense of care for students with their career choices.
