Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kedung Waringin 05 tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis statistic deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Nilai persentasi tindakan pada siklus I adalah 66%. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 89,4%. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV SDN Kedung Waringin 05. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Berbicara, Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, Model Think Pair Share (TPS) ***************************** This study aims to improve students' speaking skills through the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK). This research was conducted on fourth grade students of Kedung Waringin 05 Elementary School, Academic Year 2019/2020. Data collection methods were carried out through interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative analysis. The action presentation value in cycle I was 66%. In the second cycle it increased to 89.4%. The results of the study concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning model can improve the speaking skills of fourth grade students of SD Kedung Waringin 05.
