Abstract

The purpose of this research is to comprehensively understand about the effect of transformational leadership and self-efficacy to public primary school teacher’s stress in District of Ciracas, East Jakarta. The research methodology was survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis. It was conducted to 113 teachers as respondents which were selected in simple random sampling way. Analysis and interpretation of the data indicate that (1) the transformational leadership has a negative direct effect on stress, (2) self- efficacy has a negative direct effect on stress, (3) transformational leadership has a positive direct effect in self-efficacy
