Abstract
This study aims to improve early childhood creativity through art activities handworks by using recycled materials in the Age Group 5-6 year KB Mutiara Hati, Penjaringan, North Jakarta with action research methods Kemmis and Mc.Taggart. The study was conducted in 2 months, May to June 2014. The study was successful in increasing the average child's creativity by 46.70% in 2 nd cycle, with the success achieved by 89% action children have shown the development of creativity with a very good and as expected. The learning process is given in a classroom atmosphere that supports creativity and fun (a) beautiful decoration, attractive fit the theme, (b) welcome the happy music, (c) lack of time and the freedom to be creative child, (d) a teacher of art as a source of inspiration, and (e) the activities that are always different and varied material and the medium at each meeting so that the child is always curious and obtain learning and new experiences to develop the potential of creativity.
