Abstract

The objective ofthisresearchistogaina deep understanding ofentreprenuership management in SMKN 58Jakartawhich is the only one of art vocational school in DKI Jakarta.An entrepreneur is a person who creates a new business in the face of risk and uncertainty for the purpose of achieving profit and growth by identifying opportunities and assembling the necessary resources to capitalize on them. Management is the process of coordinating work activities so that they are completed efficently and efectively with and through other people. This research isa qualitative case study method and conductedfrom November2012 toJuly 2013. The validity ofqualitative dataobtainedthrough theextension oftime doingresearchandtriangulationof datacollection techniquesand data sourcesin the field. Result of the study revealed: (1) Planning refers to a set of activities and processes designed to change individual, group, and organization structure and process. (2) An organizing is both a collectivity of people and an aggregation of interlinked organizational sub-units, coordinated towards the achievement of the instrumental goals (3) Role of industry at SMK is needed to achieve vocational school goals as school to work and school to entreprenuer.
