Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis perubahan peraturan pertandingan baru WKF nomor kata pada kejuaraan tingkat nasional karate JKOF (Jakarta Karate Open & Festival) IV 2021, untuk memformulasikan strategi dan membuat rekomendasi sehingga dapat diambil tindakan yang tepat sesuai dengan informasi atau kondisi yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Dalam pengamatan peneliti menemukan banyak kasus pelanggaran yang menyebabkan pengurangan poin maupun diskualifikasi serta menemukan berbagai hambatan dalam jalannya penilaian menggunakan sistem terbaru. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, dengan teknik survei menggunakan kuesioner riset SWOT. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 orang yang berasal dari atlet karate nomor kata yang mengikuti kejuaraan nasional JKOF IV 2021 pada kategori open, atlet karate nomor kata yang mengalami peralihan perubahan peraturan dari yang lama menjadi yang terbaru, dan berusia 14 tahun ke atas. Data yang didapat dari penyebaran kuesioner riset SWOT dalam menentukan rating seluruh faktor lalu dihitung untuk mendapatkan skor pada kombinasi matriks perencanaan strategi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang harus diterapkan pada kategori keseluruhan sampel, kelas pertandingan kadet, kelas pertandingan junior, kelas pertandingan senior, dan kategori atlet pengalaman bertanding sedang yang terletak pada kuadran I adalah dengan menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang terdapat pada peraturan pertandingan baru. Sedangkan pada atlet yang memiliki pengalaman bertanding tinggi yang terletak pada kuadran II harus menggunakan kekuatan untuk mengatasi ancaman yang terdapat pada peraturan pertandingan baru. Kata Kunci: Peraturan pertandingan baru, nomor kata, karate, matriks SWOT. ****** ABSTRACT This study aims to find out the analysis of changes in the new WKF match rules with kata at the JKOF (Jakarta Karate Open & Festival) IV 2021 national karate championship, to formulate strategies and make recommendations so that appropriate action can be taken according to the information or conditions obtained by using SWOT analysis. In observing the researchers found many cases of violations that led to the reduction of points and disqualification and found various obstacles in the course of the assessment using the latest system. Data collection was carried out in June 2021. The research method used in this study was descriptive, with a survey technique using a SWOT research questionnaire. The sample used in this study amounted to 50 people who came from karate athletes who participated in the JKOF IV 2021 national championship in the open category, karate athletes who experienced a transition from the old to the newest regulations, and aged 14 years and over. The data obtained from the distribution of the SWOT research questionnaire in determining the rating of all factors are then calculated to obtain a score on the combination of the quantitative strategic planning matrix. The results show that the strategy that must be applied to the overall sample category, cadet competition class, junior competition class, senior competition class, and moderate competition experience athlete category located in quadrant I is to use strength to take advantage of the opportunities contained in the new competition rules. Meanwhile, athletes who have high competitive experience who are located in quadrant II must use strength to overcome the threats contained in the new competition rules.
