Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang demokrasi dengan sikap demokratis siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 39 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dimulai sejak Maret sampai dengan Mei 2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 66 siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 39 Jakarta. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen uji coba dilakukan kepada 30 responden. Instrumen uji coba variabel X diperoleh hasil sebanyak 31 pertanyaan valid, sedangkan untuk variabel Y diperoleh hasil sebanyak 42 pernyataan valid. Selanjutnya hasil perhitungan uji normalitas, diperoleh nilai Signifikansi >0,05 atau 0,2 >0,05, uji linieritas diperoleh hasil (0,458 > 0,05) dengan demikian, kedua variabel dinyatakan berdistribusi normal dan linier . Pada pengujian hipotesis korelasi product moment diperoleh hasil 0,476, angka tersebut memiliki arti bahwa bentuk korelasi antar variabel adalah positif (+) dan kontribusi antara pengetahuan tentang demokrasi dengan sikap demokratis siswa berkontribusi sebesar 22,7%. Kesimpulan hasil analisis adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara variabel pengetahuan tentang demokrasi dengan sikap demokratis siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 39 Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan tentang Demokrasi, Sikap Demokratis, Siswa The research aims to determine that there’s a correlation between knowledge about democracy with democratic attitudes of eleventh grade students at SMKN 39 Jakarta. The method was used is a correlational method and quantitative approach. The research start from Maret to Mei 2021. The sampling technique used was random sampling, with a total sample of 66 eleventh grade students on vocational 39 Jakarta. The validity and reliability test towards the instrument conducted to 30 respondent. The test instrument of X variable was gained through 31 valid questions, while for Y variable of test instrument was gained through 42 valid statements. Based on the result, for normality test was obtained signification score >0,05 or 0,2 > 0,5, in linearity test was obtained 0,458>0,05, therefore the both variable are approved for test requirements analysis because the data distribution are normal and linear. Testing the hypothesis test product moment correlation, the result is 0,476, this number means that the form of correlation between variable is positive (+) and the contribution between knowledge about democracy and student democratic attitude contribute 22,7%. The conclusion of the analysis is that there a positive relationship between variable knowledge about democracy with an attitude democratic eleventh grade students at SMKN 39 Jakarta.
