Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan tentang catcalling terhadap perempuan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua gerakan perempuan Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan mahasiswi pendidikan IPS 2017 – 2018. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1. Bentuk-bentuk catcalling di Universitas Negeri Jakarta berupa siulan, permintaan dan komentar yang bertendensi seksual. 2. Faktor-faktor penyebab catcalling di Universitas Negeri Jakarta adalah perkembangan teknologi dan informasi, relasi kuasa antara laki-laki dan perempuan yang tidak harmonis, ancaman hukuman ringan atau sistem penegakan hukum lemah, karakteristik lingkungan kampus. 3. Upaya penanganan catcalling di Universitas Negeri Jakarta oleh Gerakan Perempuan Universitas Negeri Jakarta yaitu memberikan edukasi, pendampingan psikologis, medis dan hukum. Kata Kunci : Catcalling, Perempuan, Mahasiswi. This study aims to describe the Catcalling against women at the Jakarta State University. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The subjects in this study were the head of the women's movement at the Jakarta State University and students of social studies education 2017 – 2018. The results of this study showed that: 1. The forms of Catcalling at the Jakarta State University were whistling, requests and comments with sexual tendencies. 2. The factors causing Catcalling at the Jakarta State University are the development of technology and information, inharmonious power relations between men and women, the threat of light punishment or a weak law enforcement system, characteristics of the campus environment. 3. Efforts to handle Catcalling at the Jakarta State University by the Jakarta State University Women's Movement are providing education, psychological, medical and legal assistance.
