Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan perempuan single parent dalam menjalankan peran dan fungsi keluarga di masa pandemi COVID-19, (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan kendala yang dihadapi perempuan single parent dalam menjalankan peran dan fungsi keluarga di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah RW 001 Kelurahan Munjul Kecamatan Cipayung, Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Ketua RW 001, Ketua PKK RW 001, dan perempuan single parent. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada intensitas peran yang dijalankan perempuan single parent di wilayah RW 001 Kelurahan Munjul. Intensitas salah satu peran yang dijalankan perempuan single parent di masa pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada berjalannya fungsi keluarga di masa pandemi COVID-19. Fungsi keluarga yang tidak dijalankan perempuan single parent di wilayah RW 001 Kelurahan Munjul selama pandemi COVID-19 yaitu fungsi reproduksi. Fungsi keluarga yang tidak berjalan dengan baik selama pandemi COVID-19 adalah fungsi ekonomi, fungsi sosialisasi dan pendidikan. Perempuan single parent menjalankan fungsi keluarga di masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan cara yang beragam. (2) Terdapat kendala yang dihadapi perempuan single parent di wilayah RW 001 Kelurahan Munjul dalam menjalankan peran dan fungsi keluarga di masa pandemi COVID-19 diantaranya, yaitu waktu dan tenaga perempuan single parent, pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ), serta pendapatan dan pekerjaan perempuan single parent. Kata Kunci: Perempuan Single Parent, Fungsi Keluarga, Pandemi COVID-19 The study aims: (1) To describe single parent women in carrying out family roles and functions during the COVID-19 pandemic, (2) To describe obstacles encountered by single parent women in carrying out the roles and functions of the family during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at RW 001 Munjul, Cipayung Sub-District, East Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The subjects in this study were the head of RW 001, the head of the PKK RW 001, and single parent women. The result of the study are: (1) The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the intensity of the roles played by single parent women in the RW 001 area of Munjul. The intensity of one of the roles played by single parent women during the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the functioning of the family during the COVID-19 pandemic. Family functions that are not carried out by single parent women in the RW 001 area of Munjul during the COVID-19 pandemic are reproductive functions. Family functions that did not go well during the COVID-19 pandemic were economic functions socialization functions and education. Single parent women carry out family functions during the COVID-19 pandemic in various ways. (2) There are obstacles encountered by single parent women in the RW 001 area of Munjul in carrying out family roles and family functions during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the time and energy of single parent women, implementation of distance learning activities (PJJ), as well as the income and work of single parent women.
