Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan kondisi tenaga kerja pertanian serta pergeseran pandangan generasi muda terhadap dunia pertanian yang tidak mau meneruskan pekerjaan orang tua sebagai petani. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, analisis dokumen, catatan lapangan dan studi pustaka. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) perkembangan kondisi tenaga kerja di Desa Labanjaya sudah semakin berkurang serta tenaga kerja generasi muda sudah tidak ada yang mau melanjutkan bertani.(2) pergeseran pandangan generasi muda Desa Labanjaya terhadap pertanian yang mengalami pergeseran yang menganggap dunia pertanian tidak memiliki masa depan seperti halnya di dunia non pertanian yang lebih memiliki masa depan dan menyebabkan berkurangnya tenaga kerja pertanian diakibatkan generasi muda tidak mau bekerja di sawah, perlu adanya dorongan dari berbagai pihak agar generasi muda mau bekerja di sawah tanpa adanya dorongan dari pihak lain maka generasi muda akan tetap tidak mau bekerja didunia pertanian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor utama pergeseran pandangan generasi muda terhadap pertanian merupakan faktor dari Modernisasi yang membuat generasi muda menginginkan pekerjaan mengikuti sesuai perkembangan zaman yakni dengan urbanisasi ke kota dengan harapan bisa mendapatkan pekerjaan yang dianggap lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Paradigma, Tenaga Kerja, Pertanian This study aims to find out how the development of the condition of the agricultural workforce and the shift in the views of the younger generation towards the world of agriculture who do not want to continue the work of their parents as farmers. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, document analysis, field notes and literature study. The methods used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that (1) the development of labor conditions in Labanjaya Village has decreased and the younger generation of workers is no longer willing to continue farming. (2) shifting views of the younger generation of Labanjaya Village towards agriculture which is experiencing a shift that considers the agricultural world to have no the future as in the non-agricultural world, which has more of a future and causes a decrease in agricultural workforce due to the younger generation not wanting to work in the fields, there needs to be encouragement from various parties so that the younger generation wants to work in the fields without any encouragement from other parties, the younger generation will still not want to work in the agricultural world. The conclusion of the study shows that the main factor in the shift in the view of the younger generation towards agriculture is the factor of Modernization which makes the younger generation want jobs according to the times, namely by urbanization to cities in the hope of getting jobs that are considered better.
