Abstract
Pencapaian kemampuan pemahaman konsep merupakan suatu kebijakan urgensi dalam kurikulum pembelajaran matematika. Namun faktanya, peserta didik Indonesia masih kesulitan dalam mencapai kemampuan tersebut sehingga dibutuhkan model pembelajaran bermakna yang dapat mengatasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 99 Jakarta dengan pokok bahasan segi empat dan segitiga pada kelas VII semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Metode quasi experiment digunakan pada penelitian ini, yakni dengan posttest only control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu berupa instrumen tes yang terdiri dari 4 soal uraian. Instrumen telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelum diberikan kepada sampel. Hasil analisis data berdasarkan uji t menunjukkan keputusan tolak H_0 bertaraf signifikansi α=5% karena t_hitung=3,710≥t_tabel=1,665. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik SMPN 99 Jakarta. Hasil perhitungan uji Cohen’s d yaitu sebesar 0,830 sehingga besar signifikansi pengaruh tergolong tinggi dengan persentasenya yaitu 79%. Achievement of ability to understand concepts is an urgency policy in mathematics learning curriculum. In fact, Indonesian students still have difficulty in achieving these abilities so that a meaningful learning is needed to overcome them. This study aims to determine the effect of guided discovery learning model in distance learning on ability to understand mathematical concepts of students. The research was carried out at SMPN 99 Jakarta with the subject of quadrilaterals and triangles of class VII in even semester of 2020/2021. Quasi-experimental method was used in this study, namely post-test only control group design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Instrument used in this research is in the form of test instrument consisting of 4 questions. Instrument has gone through validity and reliability tests before being given to the sample. The results of data analysis based on t-test showed decision to reject H_0 with a significance level of α=5% because t_count=3,710≥t_table=1,665. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is positive significant effect from the application of guided discovery learning in distance learning on ability to understand mathematical concepts of the students in SMPN 99 Jakarta. The results of Cohen's d test are 0.830 so that significance of the effect is high with a percentage of 79%.
