Abstract

Waktu luang bagi masyarakat adalah waktu yang sangat berharga dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, waktu luang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai aktivitas dari mulai aktivitas aktif hingga aktivitas pasif. Alun-alun merupakan salah satu tempat yang banyak dikunjungi oleh masyarakat untuk mengisi waktu luang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kegiatan Masyarakat Di Alun-Alun Kota Tangerang Untuk Mengisi Waktu Luang Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan data diambil dengan instrumen berupa angket. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat pengunjung alun-alun Kota Tangerang, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik quota sampling, peneliti menetukan kuota sebanyak 150 responden untuk dijadikan sampel karena dianggap sudah mewakili dari populasi atau pengunjung alun-alun untuk dijadikan data penelitian. Uji coba instrumen dilakukan pada 30 orang masyarakat Kota Tangerang yang pernah berkunjung ke alun-alun Kota tangerang. Validasi instrumen menggunakan korelasi Product Moment sedangkan reliabilitasnya menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan statistik persentase, dan hasil kesimpulan penelitian bahwa kegiatan masyarakat Kota Tangerang untuk mengisi waktu luang pada masa pandemi pada aspek Comfort/Kenyamanan 18%, aspek Relaxation/Relaksasi 21%, aspek Passive Enganggement/Kegiatan Pasif 19%, aspek Activ Engaggement/Kegiatan Aktif 22%, dan aspek Discovery/Pengalaman dan Ketertarikan 20%. Kata Kunci: Alun-alun, Waktu Luang, Masyarakat. Free time for the community is very valuable time in daily activities, free time can be used in various activities ranging from active activities to passive activities. The square is one of the places visited by many people to fill their spare time. This study aims to find out community activities in the Tangerang City Square to fill free time during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive research and the data is taken with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The population of this research is the entire community of visitors to the town square of Tangerang, sampling using quota sampling technique, researchers determine a quota of 150 respondents to be used as samples because they are considered representative of the population or visitors to the square to be used as research data. The instrument trial was carried out on 30 people from Tangerang City who had visited Tangerang City Square. The instrument validation uses Product Moment correlation while the reliability uses Cronbach's Alpha formula. Analysis of the data using percentage statistics, and the results of the research conclusion that the activities of the people of Tangerang City to fill their spare time during the pandemic in the Comfort aspect 18%, the Relaxation aspect 21%, the Passive Engagement aspect 19%, the Active Engagement aspect 22%, and aspects of Discovery 20%.
