Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui transitivitas dalam teks berita dalam berita harian daring Republika melalui kajian linguistik sistemik fungsional. Fokus penelitian ini adalah transitivitas yang mencakup proses, partisipan, dan sirkumstansi pada teks berita. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari 78 klausa inti yang mengandung verba, terdapat proses, partisipan, dan sirkumstansi, proses tersebut meliputi: (1) proses verbal berjumlah 39 proses (50%), (2) proses material berjumlah 19 proses (24,35%), (3) proses mental berjumlah 12 proses (15,39%), (4) proses relasional berjumlah 4 proses (5,12%), (5) proses perilaku berjumlah 2 proses (2,57%), dan proses eksistensial berjumlah proses (2,57%). Proses tersebut diikuti oleh partisipan yang hadir bersamaan dengan proses, yang terdiri dari: (1) partisipan pewarta dan diwartakan (51%), (2) partisipan aktor dan sasaran (23,84%), (3) partisipan pengindera dan fenomenon (14,59%), (4) partisipan penyandang dan sandangan (2,64%), dan partisipan eksisten (1,32%). Sirkumstansi pada data penelitian ini diperoleh sebagai berikut: (1) sirkumstansi yang menunjukkan keterangan tempat 11 buah (50%), (2) sirkumstansi yang menunjukkan keterangan waktu 6 buah (27,28%), dan sirkumstansi yang menunjukkan keterangan cara 5 buah (22,72%). Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa melalui struktur dan kebahasaan teks berita dalam KD. 3.1 yang meminta siswa untuk menelaah struktur dan kebahasaan teks berita yang didengar dan dibaca, dan KD 4.1 yang meminta siswa untuk menyajikan data dan informasi dalam bentuk berita secara lisan dan tulis dengan memperhatikan struktur, kebahasaan, atau aspek lisan (lafal, intonasi, mimik, dan kinesik) di kelas VIII SMP. This study aims to find out transitivity in news text. The focus of this study was transitivity that included processes, participants, and circumcision in news text. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method with content analysis technique. The results were obtained from 78 core clauses containing verbs, processes, participants, and circumcision, the process includes: (1) verbal processes totaling 39 processes (50%), (2) material processes amounted to 19 processes (24.35%), (3) mental processes amounted to 12 processes (15.39%), (4) relational processes amounted to 4 processes (5.12%), (5) behavioral processes amounted to 2 processes (2.57%), and existential processes amounted to processes (2.57%). The process was followed by participants who attended along with the process, consisting of: (1) participants and reported (51%), (2) participants actors and targets (23.84%), (3) participants sensing and fenomenon (14.59%), (4) participants with disabilities and clothing (2.64%), and existing participants (1.32%). Circumcision in this research data was obtained as follows: (1) circumcision that shows the description of the place of 11 pieces (50%), (2) circumcision that shows the time description of 6 pieces (27.28%), and circumcision that shows the description of the way 5 pieces (22.72%). The results of this study can be implied in the learning of Bahasa Indonesia for students through the structure and language of news text in KD. 3.1 which asks students to study the structure and language of the news text heard and read, and KD 4.1 which asks students to present data and information in the form of oral and written news by paying attention to the structure, language, or oral aspects (pronunciation, intonation, nosebleeds, and kinesik) in grade VIII junior high school.
